Thank you for visiting the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) website. It is our business to provide a quality and cost effective training curriculum for maritime professionals. Students visit our facility from all sectors of the industry including; deep sea, pilot, inland/coastal, cruise, military, and government. All of the Institute's programs have been specifically designed to meet the rigorous standards established by the following:
v The Maritime Advancement, Training, Education, and Safety (MATES) Program.
v The International Organization of Masters, Mates and Pilots (IOMM&P).
v The United States Coast Guard (USCG).
v The American Pilots' Association (APA).
v The Military Sealift Command (MSC).
v The Flag States of Vanuatu Maritime Services Limited and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
v Det Norske Veritas (DNV - certified as a maritime training and simulation center).
v General Services Administration (GSA).
We have two convenient training locations: the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS), which is located in Linthicum, Maryland (just minutes from Baltimore and BWI Airport), and our West Coast affiliate, the Pacific Maritime Institute (PMI), which is located in Seattle, Washington. MITAGS and PMI can design custom training programs that can be taught at customer-specified locations or on a vessel anywhere in the world.
